Abstract

The use of digital tools in higher education has transformed the teaching processes of complex disciplines such as statistics, creating the need to analyze their impact on learning. In this context, the purpose of this study is to examine the influence of digital tools on the learning of statistics among university students. The research was conducted under a qualitative documentary approach, through a systematic review of scientific literature from recognized academic databases, considering recent studies related to educational technology and statistical learning. The results show that the use of virtual platforms, specialized software, and interactive resources significantly improves academic performance, increases student motivation, and facilitates the understanding of complex content. Additionally, a high level of acceptance of these tools by students is observed, which supports their integration into educational processes. From an interpretative perspective, these findings are consistent with previous studies that highlight the role of technology as a mediator of learning. Consequently, it is concluded that the incorporation of digital tools represents a key element in the transformation of statistics teaching in higher education.
